Adopt-a-Pew and Adopt-a-Brick
programs for the Wesley United Center take off!

Contributors from across the United States and from right-next-door to the former Wesley United Methodist Church have recently kick-started funding for transformation of this irreplaceably important building into a contemporary Digital Arts and Training Center.

Some contributors are memorialized below. Their support will be inscribed on pews and bricks that are to remain with the Wesley United Center throughout its life.

Now we're asking you to contribute too. Help us preserve this building and its great heritage of African-American achievements and multi-racial partnerships. Help us make it a home for training, growth and creativity from New Orleans' to the world in the 21st century.

Individuals, groups, companies, congregations, or any other chosen entity can join in the Adopt- a-Pew and Adopt-a-Pew programs. There's huge power in combining resources. Twenty people with $50 each--or fifty people with $20 each--or one hundred with $10--can Adopt-a-Pew. The amount from twenty adopted pews will let us stabilize the building and proceed with brickwork. Fifteen hundred contributors to the Adopt-a-Brick program will let us replace the building's roof. And every contributor will be memorialized forever as part of the completed Wesley United Center.
